Hyde Park is one of London’s eight Royal Parks and covers an area of 350 acres. The HiLux ACE LED is just one of our functional and aesthetically successful products, it seemed like an easy and natural step to choose a design which would be in keeping with the nature of the Park. The colour of the columns and luminaires is coordinated to match the existing park theme and blend into the natural backdrop.

Officially opened by King George V in 1938, the park is bounded by the River Wandle on the eastern side and is around 800m long. This time being for an upgrade of their indoor facilities. 2018 has seen their pressurised tennis dome replaced with a permanent structure. This is a small park – not too far away from the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, in east London. A balance of effective overall uniform design was possible due to the arrangment of the lighting columns. This popular lawn tennis club in Berkshire has slowly started the gradual LED upgrade works to its 5 courts. We started the first phase of the Upgrade works in June 2018, to the single court area.
